I was checking out the White House website today...the Civil Rights page to be more specific... and my, how the tides have turned! He outlines no less than 8 different LGBT issues that need to be tackled, and will be tackled, while he is President!
This is a leap in the right direction! Thank you, Mr. President!
It is absolutely critical that we stand together as the LGBT Community--Allies and all!--and show that we are united, that we want these changes and will support those in office who are willing to make them happen! And this is exactly what we'll do on Sunday, May 3rd at Independence Hall in Philadelphia when everyone gathers for the National Equality Rally!
Change is in the air! There is no time like the present! We need our rights, freedoms and protections.... and we need 'em now!
